An amendment of would give power to the British Secretary of State to order the Internet providers English (FAI)  to block any site almost for almost any reason  as sums it up Slashdot.

The proposal of British law on numerical economy among which more than a third carries on author's application of the law on Internet defended by Peter Mandelson, the current Secretary of State du BIS (Department of Business, Innovation and Skills), was immediately disparaged in Britain after its publication on November 20th of this year. Internauts, media and actors of Internet principally reacted to the installation of a system of calibrated quick-witted answer and to the article 17, a vague text which would allow to the Secretary to change legislation on the copyright almost as he hears it.  For example, to introduce new technical measures or to augment the surveillance of data, even though no illegal practice took place  Google, Yahoo, Facebok and eBay in an open letter have recently got worried.
